Headphones in a busy studio get yanked, pulled and dropped.. mainly because most radio presenters are t**ts and unless they're their own personal property, are likely (not in ALL cases) to treat them with little respect. Always a good idea to have spare cables to hand!

No point in reviewing per se, as I don't think there is any alternative cable for DT 100s so you don't have a choice. But at least it is designed and made to a high standard.

Since I last bought one they have made it 3.5mm as standard, but with a screw-locking 6.5mm adaptor, which is an excellent solution and far superior to adding a bulky 6.5mm to 3.5mm converter to the already large 6.5mm plug they used to fit.

This time I will use the little screw to attach permanently to the headphones, then I won't lose so many cables

This fitted my headphones perfectly and is of the same high quality as the original.

when the cable broke on my dt100 headphone i was a little surprised at how expensive these replacement cables were. i dont think there is an alternative to buying from another maker. But at least you know these will last long and do exactly what they are intended to do. It great to have my dt100s back up and running again... however I miss my coiled cable!
