Better Sax Alto

Sax came very well packed and protected.Sax is 3 to 4 kilos lighter as other Alto saxes in its class,wasnt sure the sax was in the box at first.
box was sealed with a Conn-Selmer QC sticker ,Youtube has footage how this proces is done.
very nice carry case comes with it,straps to cary/shoulderband /and backpack style padded straps.
Sax looks beautiful with its cognac laquer ,looks irl like the Selmer surpreme looks on Youtube ,same kind of vibe colorwise.
the mechanics of the sax are solid,sturdy, feels like a quality well made instrument.
the sounds it makes are even better as expected ,full warm and bright spectrum comes out easy in combination with my Meyer6 mouthpiece.
a student sax but with professional bore,intonation very well and in tune on all registers so easy to play.
very happy with my new instrument.

Better saxaphone.

This saxaphone is perfect, I am a complete novice and sound like a farm animal being slaughtered at the moment. This is all down to me, not the saxaphone. When I manage to get a note it works perfectly, Thomann have been brilliant to deal with,the sax arrived in pristine condition a special thank you to the customer service department for sorting an inquiry very quickly. This sax is perfect for a beginner.

Klasse - für diesen Preis!

Ich habe das von Jay Metcalf empfohlene Alto-Sax etwa 3 - 4 Stunden ausprobiert, weil ich ein preisgünstiges Instrument suche. Ich spiele sehr selten Alto und wollte nicht 3.000 € ausgeben. Mein Eindruck ist denkbar positiv. Super verarbeitet, die Intonation ziemlich ausgeglichen ohne besondere Schwierigkeiten, gute Ansprache, gut eingestellt. Der Sound gefiel mir nicht so gut, aber das hat mit dem Mundstück zu tun (Otto Link Tone Edge). Mit diesem Instrument kann auf jede Bühne gehen. Es ist kaum zu fassen, was für eine Qualität man hier für unter 1.000 € bekommt.

Après de nombreuses années d'arrêt de pratique sur un sax ténor Selmer que je ne possède plus et pour reprendre l'instrument, j'ai opté pour un Alto. Après consultation de divers avis le Better Sax semblait proposer le meilleur rapport qualité prix pour un bon Sax d'étude et je dois dire que je ne suis pas déçu... et pour tout dire même très agréablement surpris de la qualité de l'instrument (pour moins de 1000 Euros !). C'est une bonne nouvelle qu'un instrument comme le saxophone soit rendu plus accessible en terme de budget, sans que le joueur se sente frustré par le manque de qualité sonore ou la fiabilité. A noter que le bec livré avec est aussi de bonne qualité et bien suffisant pour débuter. Par contre prévoyez d'acheter une ligature de meilleure qualité, l'originale est vraiment pas terrible... C'est pour l'instant le seul bémol à ajouter à la clé ;-)
