I always use these if my head is ported. Gives that little bit more protection against skin tears and damage from mics and cables. Would recommend this for anyone who ports their front head.
Some of them do take a bit more force to click the front and back rings together, but its not really an issue

Neat
Great way to create a nice neat appearance to a bass drum hole. Covers up any raggedy edges from when cutting the hole . Male hoop (outside of head) fits in nicely, female hoop (inside of head) is very tight and hard to get it to click into male hoop. Read instructions very carefully!

Looks good, but not easy to place it
Looks really good on the head, the adhesive is strong, but it wasn't so easy to put this in place. I hope they make this more efficient.

Perfect reinforcement rings
The only and perfect reinforcement rings for your bass drum head. It's very easy to install and make my drumhead looks amazing.

If I had to do it over again....
Followed the directions and cleaned the bass drum head with the supplied alcohol cleaner, but the 2 halves failed to snap in place and adhere to the drum head. The outside portion is still in place fortunately, however the inner portion is not and needs to be retrieved from inside of the drum.

Looks neat, protects the skin
I bought this to port the front of my bass drum as I wasn't happy with the booming tones before-hand, and I didn't trust myself to cut a neat enough hole on my own.
I figured this and the port-hole cutter were cheaper options than buying a new bass reso skin.
It was so easy to apply and it makes the hole look very neat.
