A great little amp for bass
There is not much choice available when looking for a battery-powered amp for electric bass. This one ticks all the boxes, though. Although the sound might be a bit on the boxy side due to the limitations of its size, it still delivers enough low end to prop up a small folk band, and I have not needed to crank it up to 11 to be heard. With a 6Ah battery I've played two-three hour rehearsals without hooking it up to the mains, and still had plenty of juice left to go; for shorter gigs, there was no fear of running out mid-set. It's sturdy without being overly heavy, and the finish and build quality is very good. Being able to offer your bandmates amplification via the extra channels is also nice in a pinch. I wouldn't take this to a rock gig, but for intimate semi-acoustic sets - and wherever you don't have electricity available - this one's a winner.
